Optional Warranty Upgrade Packages
Bronze Option = 3 Years Standard P&L + Advanced Exchange
Silver Option = 3 Years Standard P&L + Advanced Exchange Onsite (3M changes out the projector at the customer site)
Gold Option = 3 Years Standard P&L + Advanced Exchange + 1 Free Lamp during the 3 year term
Platinum Option = 3 Years Standard P&L + Advanced Exchange Onsite + 1 Free Lamp during the 3 year term
The Advanced Exchange service is designed to quickly provide you (the customer) with a replacement unit, (refurbished or new), when your unit has been diagnosed and determined by 3M's Service and Support to need repair or replacement. Simply call the toll-free technical support line, and a 3M technician will systematically diagnose the repair or replacement need. If you have purchased a Warranty Upgrade Option with the Advanced Exchange feature, 3M will issue a replacement system to you via overnight service (Note: it may take up to 72 hours to receive the exchange unit, depending on when the call is received and your location). In turn, you (the customer) should replace the faulty unit in the same box and return it to 3M with the labels provided. If you have purchased a Warranty Upgrade Option with the Advanced Exchange Onsite feature, the onsite technician will bring the replacement unit, and will take the faulty unit from your site.
For the continental U.S. only. SCP700 Series Warranty Upgrade Packages are not available in Guam, Alaska, and Hawaii.
